Les
Pradals is run by David Orchard and Pia Columberg,
an English and Swiss couple who have lived in Sainte
Croix since 2002. David is a documentary filmmaker and
Pia is a Traditional Chinese Medicine therapist. We
have a dog called Emile and a cat called Steven.
The house dates back to the 17th century.
We have converted our barn into a large gite (110 sq.
m) using environmentally friendly products only. We
have restored old brick arches, recycled and exposed
oak beams and limestone walls, and installed solar panels
on the roof. We have insulated against heat and cold
with hemp and our rainwater fills our well.
Bedroom 1. Double bedroom
with oak beams and original exposed limestone walls.
Disabled friendly.
Large mezzanine. 22 m sq. 2 single
beds. Oak beams. View of cornfields and vines.
Large Bathroom. Moroccan style. Double
sink. Disabled friendly.
Kitchen area. American style kitchen
with contemporary polished concrete work surfaces. Washing
machine.
Our gite has been designed with the comfort
of disabled guests in mind. Our organic garden will
supply you with complimentary, fresh vegetables. You
are welcome to try our home grown, organic herb teas.
You can even try the "eau de vie" that we
distil ourselves. If you would like a "wellness
package" including acupuncture and Traditional
Chinese massage please click here.
Our goal is to offer you a wonderful place to stay.
We love this part of France and would like to share
it with you.
